At Haus of Interiors, we want you to love your lighting. Our return process is simple and fair.
How Returns Work
You Have 60 Days Total
- 30 days from delivery to tell us you want to return it
- 30 more days to ship it back to us
What Can Be Returned
Items must be:
- ✓ In original packaging You may open the outer box to inspect the product and confirm the quality, finish, or color. Please keep all protective wrapping, foam, and components intact. The fixture must not be removed from its packaging, assembled, or handled in a way that prevents resale.
- ✓ Not installed or used Fixtures that have been wired or mounted cannot be returned.
- ✓ In new condition The item must be clean, complete, and in the same condition as received.
What Cannot Be Returned
- Items removed from their protective packaging or with missing materials
- Custom or special order items
- Clearance items
- Electrical parts
How to Return Something
- Email us at help@hausofinteriors.com within 30 days
- We will email you a return authorization number
- Ship it back in the original box
- Receive your refund in 5 to 7 business days after we receive and inspect it
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Return shipping is not included, but you can use any carrier of your choice
- A restocking fee may apply for opened or incomplete returns
- Original shipping costs are not refunded
- We recommend insured and trackable shipping for safe delivery
Damaged or Broken Items
Inspect Upon Delivery
- If a box is visibly crushed, torn, wet, or resealed, do not accept it. Ask the driver to mark it as damaged or refuse the delivery
- Open the outer box and check contents right away. Do not remove the fixture from protective packaging if you see damage
Report Within 24 Hours
Carrier claims are time sensitive. Report any damaged or missing pieces within 24 hours of delivery so we can file with the courier and resolve it quickly. Claims reported after this window or without packaging may be denied by the carrier.
What to Send Us
- Photos of the outer box, shipping label, and any visible damage to the carton
- Photos of inner packaging and the damaged part, without fully removing the fixture from its protective wrap if possible
- A short unboxing video helps speed approvals, if available
- Order number and a brief description of the issue
Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Do not install a damaged item. Installing or discarding packaging may void the claim. Once approved, we will send a replacement at no cost or provide the appropriate remedy based on courier determination.
Check Before Installation
You can open the outer box and visually inspect your light to ensure it matches your order and meets your expectations. If anything appears damaged, incomplete, or not as expected, contact us before removing it from the packaging or attempting installation.
Why These Rules?
We sell premium electrical fixtures that require handling with care. Once a fixture is removed from packaging or installed, it cannot be verified as new or safe for resale. By keeping returns fair and products in resellable condition, we avoid unnecessary waste and costs, which helps us keep prices lower for everyone.
